Lease Proposal FAQ
An offer to lease, a.k.a. a lease proposal, is a document in which the landlord outlines the terms of leasing their property to the prospective tenant.
A landlord and a tenant/lessee sign a lease to guarantee their rights. On the one hand, it's the property use right. On the other hand, the lease guarantees the landlord the right to get payment for leasing the property out.. A contractual lease is often proceeded by an offer to lease.
Like any other formal agreement, a lease proposal needs to feature the parties' names and contact details. Other common sections are the term of lease, renewal options, proposed usage, rent amount, security deposit, inclusions and exclusions, and assignment or subletting terms.
