Legally binding documents
Both DocHub and PandaDoc provide secure and legally compliant (per the ESIGN Act and eIDAS) electronic signatures for your PDF documents. Simply upload documents to the platform, use the online PDF editor tools to add the appropriate form fields, and issue a sign request for signers.
However, PandaDoc provides tools and functionality that go beyond a traditional document signing platform like DocHub or DocuSign. In addition to e-signing, you can also create documents from scratch, collaborate with signers, create advanced document templates, and much more.
DocHub tries to offset this by offering solutions with partnerships from pdfFiller and SignNow, but the extra tools and functionality brought through these partnerships can be even more confusing.
Safe storage for your docs
Just like DocHub, PandaDoc allows you to integrate with storage tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box to import your documents to edit and e-sign PDFs. SSL encryption and strong user authentication protocols also ensure that your documents are secure while on either platform.
A key difference is that PandaDoc offers unlimited onboard storage for all signed contracts. That means you won’t have to worry about exporting your documents or housing them off site once the signing process is complete (although it’s possible to do exactly that with CRM and storage integrations).

User-friendly PDF editor
DocHub and PandaDoc both provide basic PDF sign and edit processes. Before it’s time to sign documents, editors can insert fillable fields, whiteout unwanted text, and add annotations.
However, PandaDoc offers document editing options that are much closer to Adobe Sign or Microsoft Word than DocHub. Using the PandaDoc editor, you can insert images (JPG & PNG) and videos, copy/paste and reformat content, add additional form fields and much more.
