An architectural proposal is a document stating a detailed overview of the summary, approach, project milestones, company details, pricing, payment terms, contact information, key personnel, and terms and conditions. It is created by architectural firms for prospective clients.
In most cases, an architect’s fee is dependent on the final cost of the construction of the project. Industry standard for residential projects is between 10-20%. Some architects, however, prefer to go for a lump-sump contract, since construction costs can vary.
An architectural proposal should include an executive summary of the company, their detailed (and customized) approach to undertake a project, project milestones, firm profile, key staff members, pricing, payment terms, and terms and conditions. These documents end with a proposal acceptance.
